ADUST is governed under the Private University Act, 1992.

ADUST seeks to enhance the quality of education through a multi-disciplinary curriculum in all branches of knowledge as imparted by a group of devoted academicians from home and abroad. ADUST also provides an excellent environment for the students to promote knowledge and explore newer domains through research. 

The University has at present a significant enrolment of students. Its full-time teachers are well qualified while it has a host of reputed academicians and professionals.
